Company HistoryIn 1985, Don Smith started The Don Smith Agency as a home-based business together with his wife, Cassie Smith, to provide high-quality, durable furniture for educational environments. They spent the next five years working constantly - 7 days a week - and travelled coast to coast in search of clients in the educational market. Their perseverance was rewarded with steady growth in their business. Their existing product lines were expanding, and new ones were added. As a result, The Don Smith Agency could seek out clients in a much broader marketplace - including hospitality, institutions, business offices, computer and technology, industry and manufacturing, places of worship, as well as clients in the field of education. To reflect both the company's internal growth, and the growth of their potential market, the name was changed to DSA Furnishings. The company's focus remains on business-to-business transactions in supplying furnishings for non-residential environments. Don Smith is proud to say that he still maintains a low-overhead operation, which has enabled the company to keep its commitment to competitive pricing. Moving forward, he anticipates continued growth in sales, partly aided by the improved website and mostly through good old contact with new clients. | ||||||||
